  12. Watershed Technologies Announces GraphRight for NeXTSTEP

  14. Marlboro, MA - April 6, 1993 - Watershed Technologies, Inc. today announced
  15. the release of GraphRight, the Presentation Graphing Application for business
  16. and financial use.
  17.  
  18. GraphRight features a wide selection of business and financial graph types
  19. including a full featured drawing package. GraphRight was designed and written
  20. exclusively for all platforms running NeXTSTEP.

  22. GraphRight features include:

  24. - 18 graph types - Unlimited undo - Full drawing environment - Basic word
  25. processor, including spell checker - Drag and drop images, rich text, and
  26. color - Object linking - File and folder linking - Simple, easy to use table-
  27. based data editor - The ability to import ASCII data

  29. The drag and drop feature allows any file in the Workspace to be dragged onto
  30. a graph page. Files such as TIFF, EPS, and RTF can be directly imported in
  31. this manner. This allows for an image to be placed behind a graph producing a
  32. stunning and effective result for any presentation.  "Just about anything can
  33. be dragged and dropped into GraphRight", says Dirk P. Fromhein, President of
  34. Watershed Technologies, Inc.

  36. Object Linking allows a graph created in GraphRight to be linked into any word
  37. processor or presentation package that supports NeXT's Link Manager.  This
  38. feature eliminates the need to repeatedly copy and paste a graph as it is
  39. changed. Once a graph is linked into another application, all future changes
  40. to the graph in GraphRight are updated throughout all the links.  Linking into
  41. GraphRight is also possible.

  43. GraphRight includes a full featured drawing environment, and a basic word
  44. processor that supports NeXTSTEP's spell checker. As a result, graphs can be
  45. annotated in a very integrated manner. "We are seeing in NeXTSTEP, the chance
  46. to push presentation graphics to a much higher level than on any other
  47. platform", says Dirk Fromhein.
